Very nice amp!! I feel like i've seen that in the shop before and may have upgraded your output caps to Aerovox, though I cannot remember if that was your amp or not. Transformers are extremely nic...

I did move the speakers to stands, five inch bed risers on all corners with a tennis ball under the speaker to dampen the vibrations. Instant effect on the sound. No long is it muffled by the carpe...

Thanks for the compliments first off! I have not tried Grado's though I wish I could. The 701's sound just about right to me, didn't really care for the hd 650's. I'll have to take another pick now...
