All good sugestions, you may want to try a supertweeter that plays to over 65khz, Mu Rata makes one that's over 100khz all though it's pretty pricey. And a bit narrow in despersion. I know a stereo store in the S.F. Bay Area that makes their own wire and tweeked out versions of the Linaeum tweeter, plays from 2khz to over 65khz. Sweet sounding 360degree patern. It's weird how well this tweeter works with planar and ESL type speakers as well as ribbons and even modern horns! They also re-wire the whole speaker. Sounds really dynamic and live. A good subwoofer to try is BG Z Subi, made and designed in Carson City Nevada, has a[real] 150 watt amp built in with passive 10 inch radiator and is made with real hand rubbed cherry wood veneers. One of the best subs at any price takes modding very well, with real honest natural bass, not boomey or fluby sounding. Also inexpensive so you can always add another. I think the CLS plays to about 30khz or so the tweeter is a perfect match, really opens up the dynamics. Especially in the mid band. Something to check out. I woud love to have the CLS but our room is too small.

Good luck,
