Hi, This is a painting of a Hindu God playing a string instrument. This was painted with natural colors (made from vegetable extracts) approximately 2,500 years ago in a temple in Leh-Ladakh region in India. My brother took a photo, which I enlarged and mounted on the wall. The instrument is called Veena. Thank you.
Your system is a work of art! It's truly beautiful. I couldn't help noticing that you're using stock power words. You might want to consider suggest a power conditioner and power cables from a company like Shunyata Research or PS Audio...given your equipment, I think you'd be very impressed.
Daveyf, I shall remove CFL bulbs. but i hate yellow lights. i think i will have to get used to them at least when i am listening. thank you for your recommendation. Have you used cable elevators? Vishal
RNY, I used to hear sound stage more focused on left earlier. after playing with placement, the current position as you see them angled, I have good response. I believe it is due to improvement in bass. dimensions are 15 ft long, 13 feet wide and 8 feet tall. acoustics are not that great, but it does not bother me. thank you.
Visahalonly, I think I see a halogen light in the rear of the room, you might want to get that out of the room, when they are working, the lights interfere with the power lines and induce noise on the line. You will notice this as major grunge everytime you listen.
Very nice! The third picture shows the BLs angled about 45 degrees. I have read in reviews that bass improvements are possible in this configuration, but my trials revealed nothing. Your experience? What are the dimensions of your room? Thanks!
Your Duevels look wonderful and if they sound as good as they look, then you should be very pleased. I'd suspect that you had owned directional speakers before the Duevels, so what is your reaction to these omni's? The listening experience is different, for in my personal experience the speakers will simply disappear as point sources ... it was amazing, for it didn't matter where I stood or sat in the room ... the music simply full and everywhere, and it just didn't matter where I positioned myself. I wasn't ready for that.
Most excellent, welcome to the Duevel club. I have both Bellas and Venus. They take a long while to break-in and set-up but so rewarding. What amps are you using?
