Description

It is now 2015 and I have finished my Lamm Signature Triad(ML3,LL1,LP1)It is without a doubt the finest I have seen or heard,I am done with electronics.I am still using the Avalon Isis,it just grows on you and never gets old.I am still up to date on my Walker MKV,I added the oiless and carefree compresser, what a dream.I added a second Troy signature for the ML3s and it works superb,I also am using 4 Thor SE grounding cables in the system and they are a tremendous achievement.I am using Dalby audio single and Duo isolation feet under all my components, they are a component unto themselves. And last but not least the latest and greatest Elrod Diamond cabling to tie it all together.I almost forgot the MD 809 Internet Tuner,a real work or art.

I will add new pictures in a short while.

Regards Robert

Just curious - have you tried ARC Ref 3 in your system ?

elberoth2

I'm asking 'cos I recently have had a very interesting expirience with ceraballs isolation feet I put under my speaker cables (see my "system"). To my surprise, they much improved the microdynamics and resolution of my system. Quite unexpectedly so. I put them under my spk cables out of curiosity, but they do really work. I use 4 of them on each side, which is enought to lift the whole cable from the floor.

Robert,

What have you put under your cables ? Is that foam ? Does it help ?

I'm aware of those two tweeters. I didn't know that there is a price difference between them though.

Too bad my room is only 14x19 ... I might consider them in the future. I will have to speak to Lucien in a couple of months when he gets some feedback from Isis users - maybe someone will try squeezing them into smoller room like mine with good effect.

BTW - I didn't know that the midrange is differnt. The black color on diamond tweeter is optional at Accuton, now you can specify the color when you order them.

"Bass slam" is something my Eidolons are missing. I'm a little bit surprised that you have found Isis to have better highs and mids - they use the same drivers as Eidolons Diamonds afterall.

BTW - how big is your room ?

elberoth2

Do they have more "slam" (i'm not talking about output capability) than Eidolons ?
