This combination is very musical, dynamic and realistic. It sounds like the performers are in the room including, jazz, blues, rock, and classical.
I have 26 bass traps (from 2" to 8" thick) in the room. The room is L-shaped with the vertical of the L being 16x34 and the horizontal of the L being 20x18. The theater is at the top of the L, with the seating area being 17' back.
The stage area is not finished yet - determining best speaker placement before it is finished.
I reorganized the electronics a bit. I have replaced the Kisto with a Halcro SSP-200 and a dm10 for 2-channel.
kevinm, do you think given my small room, I will need to add the sub unit? Perhaps it would be more economical to add something like the JL Fathom sub instead of the YG one?
kevinm, thank you for the reply. The room I may be moving my system to is only 10x10. Another possibility is a loft that is 15x15. I was thinking about starting with the KIPOD Main Module then possibly adding the sub unit later.
FANTASTIC! I have been wanting to listen to the YG speakers for a while now. How do they compare to any of your previous speakers? I am thinking about just getting the main module for use in a small room. I really prefer speakers that are transparent, dynamic, accurate in terms of reproducing timbre. How do you think the YG perform in these areas?
