Hi Arthur,
Your reply makes a lot of sense to me. I can see where both the Shindo and the Thoress are superb in their own way yet each has its unique positive attributes and character. They must be really special as they've kept your Line Magnetic amplifier on the sidelines. I don't believe you'd have a problem selling that beast on the used market.

As I've written before I really like your system configuration, it must sound fantastic. How does your Line Magnetic with its 845 tubes vary found your Shindo amp driving the Westmister? do you clearly prefer one over the other in terms of pure musicality and emotional involvement?

A total reboot? No kidding!
I suspect that this system sounds simply marvelous. I really like your
choice of amplifiers and it seems each brings its own sonic beauty and perspective. Arthur, can the Found Music 2A3 drive your Tannoys?
You have a beautiful room and system and your "reboot" will increase your music listening enjoyment in my opinion.
