One day when I was in college, my girlfriend broke up with me. I skipped class, withdrew the $1500 I had thus far saved to buy an engagement ring, drove directly to Great Sounds in Muncie Indiana and impulse purchased my number one aspirational speakers at the time, Polk RTA15tl. In retrospect, I can say definitively that those speakers were a better long term prospect than my girlfriend.

I could not love a human baby more than I love these speakers. The picture is of the crossovers I built for them last year. Jantzen Z-Superior and Obbligato Copper caps, Duelund silver-graphite resistors, Jantzen Foil inductors, Neotech wire, and Cardas Rhodium binding posts.
