One day when I was in college, my girlfriend broke up with me. I skipped class, withdrew the $1500 I had thus far saved to buy an engagement ring, drove directly to Great Sounds in Muncie Indiana and impulse purchased my number one aspirational speakers at the time, Polk RTA15tl. In retrospect, I can say definitively that those speakers were a better long term prospect than my girlfriend.

I could not love a human baby more than I love these speakers. The picture is of the crossovers I built for them last year. I'm intrigued w/ your crossover upgrade. I recently acquired a pair of RTA 11T speakers and have been contemplating building a crossover. I'm thinking of using the same Polk design with upgraded parts from Madisound to rebuild the x-over, plus change the internal wiring. Is this adequate in your view? I'm considering building it as a bi-wire crossover or is this not necessary w/ this speaker?
