As always I have used ayre gear. This new dac is everything the review say and more. Burn it in and enjoy. I've owned the top DCS gear and I'm sure I will go back and buy their top dac again but for now I put my money in to a top analog rig and the ayre make me smile. Very musical dead black back ground music flys from this dac. Five stars.

Nice setup! I've always wanted to hear the Magico Minis. A $32K monitor must be awesome. I come from a recording background myself, and found my passion to be in the playback. I'll always love music though.
System edited: Ive been trying lots of dacs and cd players over the last month an have chosen the new dcs scarlatti rack. Im using vinale mostly however, the dcs has made a big impression on me. Used with usb an upsampled to 24/176 has given me a very detailed an true soundstage. My system is getting to be the real deal.
System edited: With the new EAR 890 tube amps pushing the Magico Mini's Im getting very close to a system that work together in a beautiful way. I will be adding info on the new AudioMachina speakers that I took delivery of last week. They will be used in my Mix room studio as Mains. I was taken back by the many postive responses top mixers have been giving me all week. Big records will be made on these speakers with confidence.

I almost went with the 275 - I must have one. Eventually. I wish I could have auditioned it next to the Cary Rocket I bought... Just to hear the differences. The topology on the 275 is so cool.
Hey nice gear! I see Yamaha and Adam nearfields in your studio pics but what are the mains (partly hidden) - are those Dynaudio C4a's- at first I thought they looked like Egglestons but I've never seen an Eggleston model like that? Also C4's aren't that tall - are they sitting on custom subs perhaps?
Anyway, congrats on also assembling an awesome home system too - those Magico's are very special.
