Twoleftears, a note to say I found your discussion thread ("forward vs. laid back" speakers) very interesting indeed. I too have listened to many speakers in the past (including a number on your list) and I read your impressions with great interest. I think we have similar preferences and I agree with your comments on reviews. I take them with a large grain of salt. I just had to come & see which way you jumped! I have not heard the 24's but I am sure I would like them. I picked up a second hand pair of Proac D38's which I am running with tubes. I am yet to hear anything else that moves me to spend cash and buy them (including the Proac D40's). Thanks for your great posts! Enjoy.
