Been building this system slowly over the last 5 yrs. I have finaly received my new Totem winds and model 1 signature center. The winds are absolutely exquisite and look fabulous. Just made my final upgrade with Bryston 4B sst square and Bp26 with dac. Guess i can say now that i really love canadian products :)
Just added my dream plasma to system. Pro-151fd Elite 60". Picture is to die for!
Been a while since iv updated my profile. I will be upoading new pictures soon as i have updated the winds and center chanel recently. I'm in the process of upgrading some of my wiring any suggestions when it comes to RCA?
System edited: Been looking for the last six mths for a 60"elite pioneer plasma, and by total fluke i found one still in a box not even open. My wait was re-warded big time!
System edited: Just added a Richard Gray 400 pro and what a difference it made ! Details are much more revealing and takes that muddy sound you can get at times from lack of cleanness from current buzz.
Thanks Effula, the byston square is more liquidy in sound not as brutal on the highs but smoother. I would eventualy like to try a AR tube amp but just got married so for now going to stick with Bryston. There is no ht bypass on the bp26. I have a avm 30 so for the moment i just unplug my banana plugs from my Anthem Mca 50 to my Bryston 4b sst square which is actualy not much of a big deal because of my set up. I will upload a pic of set up shortly.
Sweet system! Would love to hear your impressions of the 4b-sst versus 4b-sst2. Any more thoughts on trying a tube preamp? Sticking with bryston? Also, does the bp26 allow for ht bypass? Just curious as to how you integrate it with your ht.
My dealer is the one that set up my tv height. I could lower it about 4inches, but for the moment i like the height as it is. It looks more like a pic frame more then a tv. But your right it could be lowered a bit.
Gorgeous! I really like it, but why do so many people put the screen so high up on the wall? Unless youu are sitting very far back (in which case it is too small), I think it should be a good 12" lower.
Yea i got a wicked deal through a guy on audiogon for some transparent speaker wires power cord and interconect new as a package deal. Should get them tomorow.
System edited: Well after 4 mths of long agonizing pain i have come to add to my system another pre and power amp to drive my winds like the should be driven. I was going to go tube amp way but there is no way i have enough power to drive these with a tube amp after looking at many options. My Winds are very hard and ineffecient to drive at 87db so i decided to add some good old die hard Bryston to my set-up and i love the sound that comes out of it.
