Hi foong
Mye stands for the 1.6s will help, but if you upgrade, e.g. to the 3.5 or 3.6 deals that opo up once in a while I would think that to be more bang/buck.
Wilsons or Avalons. Wow. These dynamic designs have a sound very different from Magneplanars. If you go that route, expect to spend time and money seeking a replacement for much or all of your Mit cabling. (Not a slam on Mit - just the observation that big system changes benefit from different cable design "styles") Wilson and Avalon make speakers renowned for resolution and presentation of detail, sort a like Spectral. Depending on your sonic tastes, you might find the presentation a bit cool or fatiguing. This can be addressed by careful matching to the front end (in your case digital only?) and cables. It's hard for me to suggest specific units because sonic preference makes one listener's "the best whut ever wuz!" another's "Eww no WAY".
Best of luck...
