Sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm not sure why you would consider such an expensive unit as the Vitus 030, although it has to be an exceptional piece to command their price for it.

I have been using an SET 845 amp that is a Chinese-made boat-anchor/space heater, but after having all the caps replaced, is making my custom Tannoy HPD 315 speakers sit up and take notice like nothing before it has. The recent addition of a Modwright SWL 9.0 Line Stage (w/upgraded power supply, new tube board and MWI caps), has me enjoying my system more than at any time in the past forty+ years.
