Description

This is my current real 2 channel system and I am super happy with it. The heart of it all is the 44 year old H H Scott 222(A) integrated amp I bought right here on Audiogon for $275. I love love love this thing to death and it is killing any other new amps I have heard for up to $1500. I just got the Omega speakers from Louis at Omega. They are wonderful and a great compliment to the Scott. My sources are just fine as are my interconnects, but I really need to do something about speaker cables and speaker stands. Any opinions or advice on any of this, please feel free to chime in. However, I must warn you, I have gotten a little too obsessed with this whole audio thing, but I now realize how to spend much less for much more. I am finally happy with MUSIC and this system lets me concentrate on nothing else.

I dig your Scott-222 integrated tube amplifier. It would be well worth it to put together a complete NOS tube compliment for the pre/power stage and replace those electro Harmonix and whatever other pre/power tubes that you have plugged into that wonderful unit. those replacement tubes would not be that expensive and would be most certainly well worth the added cost.
