This is my current primary Music/HT system. I am probably split 50/50 in usage. Just discovered vinyl and how wonderful they sound on the Maggies.
Until recently, my biggest gripe was the lack of a deep, bass foundation. I was previously using a single V2W for both HT and music. It did a good job but I wanted more. The addition of a dedicated 2Wq for each Maggie has far exceeded my expectations.
02/14/04 - Just replaced the McCormack .5 REV A for the MG 3.6R, with 2 Rowland 201 monos. The amps are still breaking in but the system is much more dynamic with a much larger sound stage.
You are using the Taipan PC on your Rowland amps. Are you happy with this pairing? Try any others? I ask because I have 201s and have been using them with stock cords, but recently tried Audience PC and discovered how substantial the cnage is, but not sure Audience is the way to go.
