This is my current primary Music/HT system. I am probably split 50/50 in usage. Just discovered vinyl and how wonderful they sound on the Maggies.
Until recently, my biggest gripe was the lack of a deep, bass foundation. I was previously using a single V2W for both HT and music. It did a good job but I wanted more. The addition of a dedicated 2Wq for each Maggie has far exceeded my expectations.
02/14/04 - Just replaced the McCormack .5 REV A for the MG 3.6R, with 2 Rowland 201 monos. The amps are still breaking in but the system is much more dynamic with a much larger sound stage.
You want a mod you can hear for alot less, at least in the analog rig? Try TWL's HIFI mod found under analog in the threads, bar none the cheapest mod with the greatest return. Only about $1.50 if you already have superglue, no OK $3.00 after the glue? Curious, it's worth it, check it out. Sounds great on my meager Maggies(.5QR).
