No idea Tom...interesting idea though. I have a power inverter thingy I use for long trips with the kids and it runs a TV/VCR combo easily enough, it could probably handle a receiver. Traveling weekly gets old, I pretty much always fly so I use the Panasonic CDP and Airhead amp along with my Senn 600's. When I drive I bring along the Swans, they're suprisingly good for the money.
