No idea Tom...interesting idea though. I have a power inverter thingy I use for long trips with the kids and it runs a TV/VCR combo easily enough, it could probably handle a receiver. Traveling weekly gets old, I pretty much always fly so I use the Panasonic CDP and Airhead amp along with my Senn 600's. When I drive I bring along the Swans, they're suprisingly good for the money. Nice to know Jeff, thanks. I know a few people that use the NAD L40 CD Receiver. It just needs speakers. But I guess you can play it in the car which is better.
Some cars now have an AC outlet. I wonder how much power is can handle?
