this system serves a dual purpose and so far has been up to the task, it sits in the main living area of my home and had to pass the muster of the old lady, so it is used for background music, but is well up to the task of critical listening. the room is perfect for the Proacs and i have spent considerable time getting them placed right. the hallmarks of Proac, musicality and huge soundstage have been brought out with this system.
