this system serves a dual purpose and so far has been up to the task, it sits in the main living area of my home and had to pass the muster of the old lady, so it is used for background music, but is well up to the task of critical listening. the room is perfect for the Proacs and i have spent considerable time getting them placed right. the hallmarks of Proac, musicality and huge soundstage have been brought out with this system.
Hey, very nice system. Do you find that having TV that close to one speaker smears the stereo image at all? I have mine in the middle and I always wonder if there really is any impact and what it would sound like nothing there.
What interconnects and speaker cables are you using?
How have you liked the Sonographe SC1? I noticed you have two of them? I just got mine on eBay a while back and so far it is much better that the NAD and Caver I was using but I think I need to send it in for some work. I get a low level hum from the left output. Very, very low but enough to make me wonder.
Nice system. How are the Klimo amps as far as power with the Proac speakers and are they reliable amps? I have always been curious about them for about 15 years.
