Description

This system has slowly evolved over the years to its present state. A paradox here is the Apogee Divas, being the oldest component in my system, yet also being the newest addition. Apogee Divas have always have been on top of my loudspeaker wish list since 1987, regardless of cost. At that time I had only auditioned the marvelous Duettas and could only dream of what the Divas would sound like. The unfortunate demise of Apogee Acoustics in 1997 and the uncertain future for Apogee speakers, resulted in the availability of such speakers in the used market at bargain prices - provided they were in good condition. I bought this near mint pair last year and it has given me no problems since, just immence musical pleasure! For the record, the Divas replaced my 12 year old Magnepan MGIIIa's.

Hi Dimitri

How do you like the Aragon? Have you tried any other amp? The listening room looks first rate. As an Apogee owner, I know the advantages of a decent room. Yours is one of only a handful. How does the Dennon do with cds? I see it dubbles as a movie machine for your plasma tv. That should be a killer movie system. Do you play records most of the time?
