Description

This is my very modest HT system. I get upgrade-itis about every five years or so. I've completely changed my system from interconnects to speakers to electronics in 2004. I never have a lot of money for my theatre, so most pieces are used and hopefully a good bang for the buck purchase.

As always, I'm open to thoughts, suggestions, and comments.

System edited: Added a small tube and amp. and headphones for late night listening. Additionaly, my choice of music isn't appreciated by all family members so now I can listen to what I want when I want.

System edited: Upgraded the sub to a SVS PC12-NSD. Still needs some work dialing it in but I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. My last couple of subs have been a bit boomy for HT and flabby for music. It's a different listening experience to hear some nice clean, tight bass.

System edited: Sold the NHT Super Center and purchased PSB Stratus C6 center speaker. Again, this is for my eventual move to a pair of PSB Stratus Gold's or Silver's towers up front.

System edited: Replaced the Denon 2803 with the Denon AVR 2807. The 2807 has HDMI inputs and outputs for my upcoming Blu-Ray player.

System edited: The TV was added in early 2007. Due to size contraints in the Armoire, this is the biggest flat panel I could fit. It does 1080i which is good enough...for now.

Sometime in 2007 I added a Panasonic 34inch CRT HDTV.

Due to size constraints in the Amoire(sp?) cabinet this is the biggest flat screen I could fit.

Before the Super Two's I was using another pair of Super Zero Xu's as the fronts (which have since been installed in the pool room using the 2803's zone 2). While the Super Two's don't image nearly as well, they throw out much richer, fuller sounding soundstage.

I still have the stands for the Zero's. Perhaps I need to try the Super Two's in the pool room (where the extra bass would be nice) and bring the zero's upstairs again for another listen.
