My eBay Vintage "Stereo" System (The HT is at the other end of the living room) Who says you can't "go home" again with the music . . . just getting back the equipment and vinyl I sold following college in the late 60's. Music includes Byrds, Sergio Mendez, 'Oldies' Brubeck, Richie Havens, We Five, Kingston Trio, Richard Harris, Beach Boys, Beatles, after all its all about the MUSIC and memories ! !

Upgrades? More Macs ! Maybe a nice new MC275 or an Outlaw receiver . . .

I had the requisite AR 2ax and then the AR 3a speakers lke a lot of followers of the crowd then. But was always totally enthralled by the sound of the less mainstream and less popular Rectilinear III (high boys)a friend had in his system. Might have been more colored but boy could they rock-bass to die for. Maybe it was the extra beer we drank at his house vs mine. He was a good German so we had some good stout stuff in the fridge back then. The good old days...

I had the same system right out of college that you had minus the Knight reel-reel not that I didn't lust after a r-r. I used the Shure V-15 Type III MM cartridge in my dual.
