not much in the way of bells and whistles here. the system is rounded out with monster speaker wire and monster cables bewteen the components. the room is 13 x 25 so the components are on one side and the speakers are set up such that the couch has the "sweet spot." i'll post pictures for feedback once we pick up the area. my wife wouldn't let me take a picture. most of my investment is in the music, still i'd welcome feedback and insight on how i might maximize my aural enjoyment.
System edited: long view of speakers. they're close to the wall and about six feet apart. can't do much else because of the long rectangular configuration of the room. still there is a very nice sweet spot on the couch. also their is a very good stereo image throughout the room. thanks to everyone who has commented thus far. looking for some feedback now that the speakers are shown. thanks!
i actually just purchased the marantz earlier this year. we enjoy loading up the changer so i really wanted to find a good carousel. i considered a rotel but the dealer wouldn't set it up to audition (he only had 1) and it was more than twice what the marantz was. i'll google Rega to check them out. I'll be interested to see if they do the carousel thing- which seems to be the antithesis of true audiophile gear. thanks for taking the time to respond.
