not much in the way of bells and whistles here. the system is rounded out with monster speaker wire and monster cables bewteen the components. the room is 13 x 25 so the components are on one side and the speakers are set up such that the couch has the "sweet spot." i'll post pictures for feedback once we pick up the area. my wife wouldn't let me take a picture. most of my investment is in the music, still i'd welcome feedback and insight on how i might maximize my aural enjoyment.
Great to see a real music lover with a fine collection. You've got enough tunes to last several lifetimes. But have you thought about upgrading your CD player? Without going crazy with spending on the digital front end, Rega make some affordable and good-sounding players that might increase your listening enjoyment (Rega Planet 2000, Rega Jupiter, Rega Apollo, etc.). Others will have other suggestions on digital upgrades, but these are players that I can vouch for.
