UPDATE:

Changed most components! Now sounding really really nice. Using the highly directionaly Eminent Tech's is the ticket to a problem with getting decent imaging with my setup. Unforunatley those things are power hogs, so I had to use my Meridian 551 to get decent sound out of them. I have a TAD-60 lying around that I tried with them. Sounds SWEEEET, but out of breath unfortunately. I'll put KT88's on them next time to see what happens.

=================================

My work system. Pieced together from misc. stuff sitting in my garage.

Just enough to relax me without bothering my co-workers. On Fridays at 16:00, my boss has wine tasting in his office (close to mine). i put my chair across my system and unwind. Nice way to start weekend. :-))

Would probably change the speakers. Then, find an integrated with a phono preamp. Otherwise, good enuff!!

I'm sure the "Mini-ET's" are wonderful. Good job making a small system with some big potential to please! I have a set of Eminent Technologies LFT-VI in my office (On the other end of the size spectrum), with a pair of HSU subs. So, you and I are in the same zone when it comes to matching the speakers; and I think we did a pretty good job! The HSU STF-1's (I had to go with them due to form factor - needed skinny subs to fit) are surprisingly capable.

Systems like this will get more people interested in high end audio. They'll hear and be amazed. Kudos!
