Description

I want to have a NICE system made up of componets from the 1950's and 1960's. Looking to upgrade my TT to Vintage when I find one. Most of the music I listen to is from that time frame. Jazz and classical. I am amazed how good this gear is.

Dean,
The McIntosh MC-30 mono amps are classic. Not only do they provide the "vintage" tube sound, they sound surprisingly modern too. I just picked up a pair and am easily enjoying their smooth top end, luscious midrange and deep bass (although they don't have low frequency control like modern tube amps). This VINTAGE subset of the audio hobby is new to me but I'm just starting to realize the rewards. The MUSIC becomes the center of attention - not because of a compromised sound, but because of the musical, listenable qualities of vintage equipment.
Nice rig!
