Since last I have made a Garrard 401 with a Schroder tonearm and a lot of tweaks. I dont belive how good this old girl sounds.
Lately I have made a tonearm that is an intermediate step between a Schroeder and a Well Tempered tonearm. Golf ball has a magnet on the underside life and are immersed in a jar with oil and a magnet. It plays great. Arm is made of a golf club.

turntable Diy
1 plattenteller from Germany 2 flywheel from old turntable 1 motor from Germany String made of fishingstring. This is my new Garrard 401 with a vario on I made it in myselv. It sound so goood that I dont belive it.
Diy Schrøder Diy
This one is 870 mm long made of Carbon. It is very inspired by Frank Schrøder. For my Garrard 401 I made a new copy of Scroeder tonearm this one is 600 long.
