I started this hobby 26 years ago with the creation of my first radio station. It lasted for 5 years but at the end pirates get caught!
In the 90's I was a DJing in a club for 7 years. After quitting I realised I couldn't live without music so I started making a system which I could enjoy at home!
As a result of listening to music for so many years, the road for me was a difficult one as I couldn't find exactly what music was for me, real music!
I didn't want a reproduction system that was too different from reality as it's so false. I wanted the truth! I changed a few machines until I got to today s result.
The most important factor which helped me reach this was the sound I had in my head which I therefore wanted to listen to from an average reproduction system.
I dreamt of allot of constructions and legends and some of them came true! One of them was being able to get a TANNOY ! I got not just one but two! One of them was the TURNBERRY with 10" unit and the other was the G.R.F, both of them from the Prestige series.
Another one of my dreams was the Jadis Eurythmie but since only 50 pairs exist all over the world, only luck could get me one! Now one of them is mine!
This speaker is beyond any imagination. The design and the sound is unbelievable! I believe I have 95% of the sound I was dreaming! so............... :).

Thank for understanding Milpai Yes i think with input impedance 20K i think not work perfect. if you find any from friend try. But try this Buy any blue alps fix passive preamp and try if play with alps ok the tvc is ok for you if not play good dont buy This is test is cheap and
Jadisboy, Thanks for your inputs. Who cares about language in our music world :-) We understand any language as long as i refers to the toys we play with!!! In fact I got an important pointer from you that I was searching for and thank you for that. I wanted to add the TVC to my system, making use of my NAD C352 integrated amp as a power amp. But the input impedance of this amp is 20K. From what you just mentioned, I get that this will not work for me...is that correct? And I totally trust you on your take on the TVC. Check for Cincy_Bob on this forum. He has compared this TVC with his 28K darTZeel and he feels the TVC is just "almost" as good. So we are comparing $1.6K to $28K. I feel it is more than a deal!!
hi aldertporter yes you have right some audophiles he listen tannoy wrong with small amp -amp with bad tubes +++++ more mistakes i try for plays tannoys 4 years first my Turnberry and now GRF IS NOT EASY need good parts back from tannoy and good space my tannoy now he play like big monitor with character tannoy the sound is out from tannoys he plays the air now my nirvana is up i think you understand me
hi Milpai yes this system is my mind before 10 years but i try for best sound anytime yes this is my listening room in my home the TVC is the best for me because he plays great before promitheus i have JADIS DPL-JADIS JPL PREAMP. the tvc he plays music better from this preamp. but carefful if play tvc with amplifier is the sound best only if the amplifier he has sensitivity down to 1.0 volt and impedance up 50k my jadis have 0.750mv and 100k please trust my words the tvc is one preamplifier 10k+++++ i use battery in my system for phono and turntable . only my amplifier have amplifier ac power this is the best for me because the ac power is big problem in sound. sorry for my bad english
Jadisboy, You have a system that has some "handpicked" components. I am sure you must have spent a lot of time going over the components you wanted in this system. And of course a beautiful room to match. Is this a separate listening room? I was doing research on the Promitheus TVC and was surprised that you included this preamp in your system - the other components being more than 3-4 times as expensive. How do you like the sound of the Promitheus? What other preamps did you audition before deciding on the Promitheus? Great system..congrats!!
