Highest Resolution

• • Custom Ultra-Wideband audio transformers offer a wide frequency response extending to ultrasonics with the highest resolution.
  •  FINAL believes that Stators should be flat rather than curved as our competitors to enable the most linear displacement possible of the membrane over its entire surface for lower distortion.
  • Symmetrical push pull forces on the diaphragm enable backward radiation with a focused reflected wave to eliminate diffused reflections and smearing.
  • Extended low frequency response due to linear excursion in both forward and rear directions of the panel’s dipolar radiation pattern.

• • Unlike conventional metal Electrostatic speaker stators, Final uses proprietary Flat Printed Electrostatic Panel technology with PMMA (Poly methyl methacrylate) Acrylic Stators

• • Acrylic stators are extremely flat, so the distance to the moving diaphragm is even, uniform, and consistent across the panel surface for lower distortion.
  • Acrylic stators enable tighter spacing between the stators and the moving diaphragm which increases the push pull forces on the diaphragm for a more precise control and lower distortion.

• • The conductive layer on the stator is applied using a proprietary screen print technology for even density resulting in lower distortion.
  • Completely resonance free unlike competitors metal stators.
  • The hybrid models have low distortion, high stiffness aluminum cone woofers in a sealed metal enclosure for quick and accurate bass response.

• • To avoid the traditional ‘HEAD IN A VISE’ listening paradigm of conventional electrostats, Finals radiate low, midbass, midrange, upper midrange and high frequencies though uniquely spaced separate patterns of differing widths on the panel stators.
  • A wide 20-degree dispersion pattern is achieved to provide a stable stereo image, regardless of the listening position.
  • Lowered electrical capacitance load due to the separated configuration of an electrostatic tweeter and super tweeter resulting in an easier to drive, more amplifier friendly impedance

• • All Final frames feature precision manufactured aerospace-grade extruded aluminum alloy that provides excellent electrical and acoustical isolation, minimizing intermodulation distortion caused by vibration and resonance.

• • Thanks to the ultra-light aluminum frame with acrylic panel design, Finals can stand flat against the wall when not in use and moved quickly into the room with ease for listening sessions.
  • The smaller M1, M3, M3C, M5 an M7 models are light enough to be WALL MOUNTED – the perfect combination of high performance and elegant styling.

• • Use of Acrylic stators ensure stable and durable performance, avoiding degradation due to oxidation.

• • Finals use Teonex Film with Indium Tin Oxide conductive coating as the speaker diaphragm, lighter than competitors’ mylar film for lowest inertia.
  • Teonex is an extremely durable material used on aircraft windshields, insensitive to UV radiation and stable in extreme environmental conditions.
  • Using an advanced proprietary technique, the conductive layer is embedded deep in the diaphragm unlike competitors surface coatings for exceptional durability with lower distortion, scratch protection, stability to humidity, dust, smoke, UV radiation and severe temperature extremes.
  • Lower voltages than any competing ESL designs for reliability and durability.
  • Tests at Final show that a 2012 production unit did not show any kind of degradation. It is therefore no longer necessary to have a membrane replaced every 6-10 years, common with traditional electrostats!
