The best amp I ever had, powerful yet musical, delivers punch when needed and has beautiful mids and highs. Controls the speakers very well. Extremely low noise level due to external power supply

Steve, the sloping ceiling improved the sound significantly. I assume it minimizes standing waves, together with the soundproofing material behind my chair. The carpeting helps, too. Before I moved my system in the attic I had it set up in my living room, a long and rectangular room with only hard surfaces and lots of rattling windows.
I listen to 70% high-res digital music from Tidal and Qobuz. I just recently bought a Bel Canto DAC 3.7 and, man, this thing took digital to a whole new level! Especially tracks higher than CD resolution sound so amazingly beautiful and sweet that I really don't need to listen to analog all the time. Another factor is that I'm a junkie for new Avantgarde Jazz music. My record collection of approx. 200 LPs is rather limited but T & Q offer such a huge variety of music that I often get lost exploring artists I've never heard of before.
The little room to the left is my home office. Conveniently located, isn't it?
