Description

My home was built in 1882, the room is dedicated music only. Had original floor taken up and installed plywood under layer screwed on, new hardwood floor installed, so the whole floor is very tight, filled the cavities with fire retardant soundproof insulation. One of the biggest non audio up grades was the installation of solar panels on the roof. The change was like someone through a switch and everything locked into focus.     Unit was restored and serviced by The Service Department, all Dr. Morbius updates completed. Brand new custom designed power supply built  for unit. Using Custom Pro Audio  built balanced Krell cable 16’ runs manufactured in Connecticut. All power cables used are manufactured in house by UHF( Canadian High End Stereo Magazine) using their own 14-gauge shielded wire using Furutech pure copper wall plug connectors and their power bar using same wire and connectors. The speaker cables are a revelation and the biggest bang for your buck you will find.
    • VPI Industries VPI Custom built Prime Turntable
    VPI Prime with Signature Feet and motor and clamp. Periphery Outer Ring Clamp, dual pivot Tonearm adapter. Custom Built tonearm cable by The Service Department using same Duelund cable different gauge. Soundsmith Zephyr MIMC* ES cartridge and an Audioshield Acrylic Turntable cover
    • Focal Focal Aria 948
    Three way floor standing Loudspeaker 
    Using Duelund audio DCAXGA- 12GA bare wire, no connectors between speakers and mono blocks. Based on a 1950’s Western Electric design using tin copper multi strand wire in a cotton and oil dielectricum. These replaced my original Silent Source cables.
    • Krell KMA-160
    Pair of Krell mono blocks, rescued post Sandy from the Boston area, cleaned up and restored by The Service Department. Both amps have their own dedicated 20 Amp circuit , Using three Darwin Cable Company Outlets for all components.
    • Audio Desk Systeme Vinyl Cleaner Pro X
    Latest version of this amazing machine, always use my VPI 16.5 for a final rinse before I play my records. Use a more rigorous system for used records purchased before finishing with this.
    • TimberNation Maple audio stand
    Top shelf 3” solid Maple, other shelf’s are 2” solid Maple. Amp stands from same company are 3” solid Maple. All stands are decoupled from floor.
