I've got The Sota spikes sitting on Walker Audio lead/brass discs to accept the sharp points. Just using the Walkers because I had them. Those are on a DIY maple inlaid slab that was made as an amp stand by Marcie, when I had monoblocks. After switching to a stereo amp, I figured it couldn't hurt to add it under the tt. That's atop my DIY rack which has Audiopoints to the floor.
Audiopoints to your table would be a good choice. They have been doing this stuff well for ages. I'd get their brass cups for the points to sit in. EdenSound makes ones with slightly rounded tips if you don't want "point in cup". I use their TerraStone footers under preamp & DAC...fantastic vs. many others I've tried.
Many rave about Townshend spring footers, but I have no experience w/them.
James, wonderful setup! The K'horns visually look just right style-wise in your room, too. Bet it sounds great.
Years ago, I owned a Berning ZH-270 amp and was very impressed with the sound quality. Yours has an advantage using EL84s, which should be much more common and rollable to tweak as you like.
Ever try anything with turntable footers or a platform underneath? Cheers,
