The Wadia 121 Decoding Computer actually has a very good proprietary headphone amp stage called “Swiftcurrent”. From the manual:
“Wadia SwiftCurrent current to voltage output stage creates a Class A output”.
I’ve considered getting a THX AAA balanced headphone amp, as the Wadia 121 includes balanced outputs, but it sounds so good as is that I haven’t pulled the trigger.
