You're welcome Ian and I am actually all streaming myself. I have an Auralic Aries Mini which is very similar to your Node. I would say if you want to improve the sound of it an outboard Dac helps a lot. I used a Yamamoto YDA-1 and now an Audio Note Dac-3 Signature and both vastly improved the sound of my Mini.

Also something to consider would be a Linear Power Supply for your Node a good power supply sounds so much better than a wall wart. I use an Sbooster on my Mini but there are tons of brands out there.
