Pretty good actually. The Parsifals help to ease the pain.

ozzy62

Your system is looking nice. How is life after horns?

james633

Owner
I plan on doing just that as soon as the dust settles and know what stays and what goes lol.

But the Parsifals are most definitely staying…..

ozzy62

How about a photo update?

The Super 300B is my main amp now. I still have an Aric Audio Special 6V6 amp that is very good also. I am using a Hattor “The Big” preamp. I had Aric delete the gain control on the amp.

I can’t say enough about how good the 300B amp sounds. As long as I stay in the high sensitivity speaker camp it will likely never leave. I’m sure you will be very happy.

ozzy62

You have a couple different photos of a tube amp. Did you settle on the Aric super 300B?
If so what's your opinion?
What are you using to control?
I have a Aric Super 300 b and Mother load XL on order.

Thanks for the comments. Arics 300B amp is a great pairing with the LS II.  Very happy with it.

ozzy62

Oh wow. Great setup! Always loved the look of the La Scalas - only Klipsch product I'd eve consider owning - and I bet they really sing with that Aric Audio amp. I have his phono stage and it's sort of the centerpiece of my system, in a way.

Awesome system @ozzy62!

I owned and LOVE La Scalas!!

I would NOT recommend the Bravura 7.2's for you my friend! ;)

bouncehit

Nice looking setup Ozzy, enjoy.

Unfortunately BBA is currently sold out of the maple/walnut racks.  Is yours 36" or 42" wide?

xs1137

Owner
I think the BBA racks are a quality product at a very fair price. Extremely sturdy, functional and inert.

ozzy62

Nice system! I see you have a Butcher Block Acoustics rack just like one I have been considering.  What do you think of it?

Thanks!

Yeah, I think you will love the CW IV.

ozzy62

Schweet system my friend!  Seeing the Cornwall’s in person is a whole other experience man...just gorgeous 👍

Thanks. I don’t think you’ll regret going with the cornwalls. Great speakers.

ozzy62

Nice looking system. I am mulling over a pair of Cornwall IV myself. I have to JL audio E112 I would use with them.

@bernardo

The Cornwalls have more midrange texture and presence than the X3s. Just more involving to my ears.

ozzy62

Oz

Can you elaborate on what motivated you to move from the SA X3's to the Klipsch Cornwall IV's?

New images added. Changed rack to a Butcher Block Acoustics Rigidrack.

Some changes made. I swapped out the Carver for a Music Reference RM9 II and swapped the Samson rack for a VTI. The VTI rack is not up to the quality of the Mapleshade, but it cleaned up the look. I like it.

Dan,

Thanks for the comment. The Spatials really are something special. Very happy with them.

Ozzy, your system is to be admired, and appreciated. I've been curious about the Spatial speakers. Enjoy your fine system.

Stay well regards,
Dan

That's a good recommendation and I agree completely!

ozzy62

Neat stuff, and the room looks well-treated too.  Really crave those Spatials!  Now since I'm an architect, I'm gonna recommend recessed accent lighting as your next step, to replace the glare from that fan light.  Since you already have electric in the ceiling it'll be a cinch!  Regards
