I use the Tape out to connect my PS2, Sat dish rec. and the tuner to my Oto. The Tape out of the Oto is connected to the CD1 input. Outside patio speakers are then run off the HK.

I tweaked these cables by changing the ends. Original setup was 16 strands divided into 4 to each post. I changed it to 6 stands to each low post with 2 strands to each high post.

Looks very nice. I wonder if you have tried placing the gears outside the nice cabinet, will that change the musicality of your system? Also, have you tried placing the speakers in front of the cabinet, will that change the sound stage? Not necessarily one way is better that the other, just want to know how different placements change the music quality.
