After 20+ years with Avanrgarde Duos I made th eswitch to Voxativ field coils. The Duos were and still are superb. The FC are slightly more cohesive and smoother and I might have just been itching to change. Could happily live with either
using a lot of Intact Audio iron, inter-stage transformers, output transformers, and power
supply chokes.

Hi Herman - more and more friends are also switching to SS amps, looks like tubes are starting to sound more like SS as well as the other side around :)
Thanks Herman, I had indeed experimented with various position options (my xover has adjustable cut pints - it is in poition 6/10) and volume is at 3/12).
I think i reached the best possible sound out of them (which is pretty good) but might to upgrade the woofers with PRO versions or a third party woofer some AG owners use.
Herman - I own Avantgarde UNOs (original version) with Jadis amps (DA50Sig); and fighting to integrate the bass modules - where should I start? Upgrade subs to PRO, decouple horns from sub?
