All I can say is I'm extremely happy with the Video and Audio performance. There is not much area left to upgrade, perhaps a new technology video projector.
Having super sound and video, plus motion for movies makes this room a place in heaven for me.
After upgrading from Wilson MaxxII's to Gryphon Poseidon speaker systems, overall sound quality has reached another level. The imaging, soundstage, detail, bass and everything else is beyond belief. I highly recommend Gryphon speakers.
IMO, the best transport available today. Superb built quality, great design and killer sound. Very very analog sound, musical yet very detailed and correct

Your system is awesome, but I am most impressed with the beautiful and neat design to support it. It makes the system a visual art piece as well as a state of the art audio system. It shows real design talent.
Yes, I did, but Von Schweikert is not distributed here and I didn't want to order something so important, so expensive without listening. I used to have Wilson Audio Maxx2's before and I think Gryphons are a huge improvement.
OK, believe it or not, the equipment rack and the shelving are designed by me. Equipment rack was manufactured in our factory (lucky to be in the metal business:)) It's all hollow stainless steel beams welded together. The tubular legs are filled with very fine sand and lead shots. The feed and spikes are made of machined brass.
Shelving was done by my very creative carpenter. They consist of 3 layers chestnut (maybe some other wood, I'm not sure) strips. On each layer the direction of strips are changed to prevent warping. The shelves also have their brass spikes.
Your equipment rack & shelving look very attractive so any additional information will be appreciated. The Metronome Kalista looks beuatiful sitting on it!
I also suggest you stay with the Boulder amplifiers - far superior to the colored and rolled off SET amps listed above based on recent PFO review.
Thank you for the advice. I'll definetely try some different options, but not in the very near future. I'm happy as for now and also a little tired of upgrading and tweaking :-)
You must try Crystal cable ultra for better bass and 3D sound stage. Also your power amps are not a good match with your speakers. You must try sigle ended amps, for expl:Wavac HE-833...
I can´t comment on the Zero but I used to have the 0,8 ISM Onboard for a few weeks and exchanged them with the Indras. To me the Indras are more "complete" sounding, offering slightly more space and detail. I expect the Zero to be at the same level as the Indras. But you are right. My Boulder dealer (I myself use the new 850 monos together with Audio Aero Prestige SE and (on loan) a GNSC modded 861 SE) said Boulder works best with TaraLabs and Transparent - don´t know if thats true as I´m not familiar with the big Transparent stuff.
It's a IsoClean Zero-Ohm panel from HongHong. All the breaker metal parts, bus bars, connectors, screws, etc are pure copper and gold-plated. For my A/V room it was custom made for 3-phase, 220V 63A. Each phase has its own 5 separate breakers.
I've never tried Tara Labs but I used Synergistic's Absolute Ref. cables for many years. I can say that Stealth cables perform much better in my room with my system
We have tried the Gryphon amps and Boulders at my dealers showroom and we all liked the Boulders much better. More power&control, more smooth detail and extermely well bass control were the differences.
Muratc, Yes, of all the high end equipment we've distributed, the Kalista is easily the most beautiful and the best sounding. Nothing else comes close. The Metronome people are great to work with and honest, too. Dominique Giner is one of the great designers today.
btw, the T2i-Signature 2-box player just received a rave review on PFO - another gorgeous design from Dominique.
Re: your question, I suggest you contact your local distributor.
I agree with your assessment of the Metronome Kalista. I have found it clearly illustrates differences in power cords and digital cables. But it always sounds as you described - doing all the audiophile stuff (detail, transparency, extension, etc) but communicates a musical sound without colorations, roll-off, etc.
The photos do not do justice to the stunning beauty of the Kalista. During the recent LA show, many people told me it could be in the Museum of Modern Art. I agree.
Actually, I didn't do anything to the breaker box. It's a custom-made, tri-phase, breaker box from Isoclean, HongHong. It has all gold plated contacts, very thick gold plated bus bars, etc.
