Nice setup. I'm also running Golds for the front (BFX surrounds) powered by Bryston amplification. I used the preamp portion from my Denon 3803 for movies. After switching to a dedicated surround processor (cheap one...Audio Refinement Pre2DSP) I never looked back. I'm not sure how much surround listening you do but that Denon is kinda outclassed.
