I have McIntosh XRT29 speakers, which are like the XRT30 towers essentially, anc use a Tct 2.2X to cross them over seamlessly to a Velodyne subwoofer. I use Parasound JC1 monoblocks, driving the towers only. The system is breath taking, in some measure thanks to the seamless bass management abilities of the Tact unit.. I have also heard the system with McIntosh electronics and it sounds wonderful indeed. I can imagine exactly how good this rroom sounds...
