Description

Just moved to a new home and I now have a dedicated music room. I still want to run dedicated 20 amp outlets and paint. I started setting things up temporarily, just so we could hear a little music. We moved half way across the country and there is still a lot of work to do. Once we are finished unpacking, I will be able to concentrate more on the music room.

Jafant, How are you doing?

Yes, I have had a Hydra Triton for years. I did not have a Shunyata dealer near me at the time so I bought it on faith. I liked their power cords so much I thought it was worth trying. And it does make a noticeable difference, but not nearly as much as their power cords..

I really like their power cords with Audio Research gear. Originally I was very skeptical about the effect of power cords. A friend lent me a Shunyata power cord to try, I think it was a Cobra HC. He said use it on my preamp. I was amazed at the difference and have used Shunyata power cords ever since, I have tried a few other brands but with ARC gear Shunyata  made the biggest difference.

I also like their interconnects but their power cords are the real star. I am not much of an upgrader. I find equipment I like and tend to hold on to it. So I don't have much insight on their current line up.

We love Alabama! We found a little lake house just outside of Roanoke as a retreat for the weekends. We could have never afforded 10 acres on a lake up north. We got a little puppy from the Walmart parking lot last year and we could not be happier.

The only way you will find out is if you get a horn of your own.

No seriously, I have no idea. The horn goes with an antique 1920's walnut table radio we have. It was just set there so that it wouldn't get damaged while we were moving stuff. The same as with the Bob cat.

jafant, Thanks! We moved just a bit southeast of Oxford. We are still unpacking and doing repairs. But it is a huge house on around 2 acres.

cymbop, Everyone should have a horn. The problem is that my wife won't let me have the dog.
