Description

Hi everyone,
Just want to introduce my  budget system.

I am using it in a 2.0 setup for music and even if my room is not optimal I have never enjoyed my music that much.

System: CD/SACD through Denon DCD-1600NE  - Rotel A12 - Tannoy Legacy Eaton
Room: about 12 x18 x 8,  speakers are on custom built stands (22" high)  about 7' apart and 28" from the front wall. Sitting position about 7' from the speakers.

I know this system can't compete with a lot of system I drool over on this site but it is mine and I love it!

Regards

A lot of changes since my last post! The LS50 are the sole survivors!

System edited: Decided to keep the Onkyo Tx-8020 (it sounds great, play loud enough and to be honest there was no logical reason to change) Adding a source made a lot more sense ... so I pick up a Yamaha BD-S681.  I think it's time to take those CD and SACD boxes out!!!

Looking to upgrade my receiver and dac with an all-in-one solution ... leaning towards Yamaha AS801 ... better option in the same ballpark?

System edited:  Just added Qed Ruby Anniversary Evolution speaker cables with Qed Airlock banana plugs.

Thanks Jason,

I am really happy with my system even if it is modest.  It sounds good and I do think it looks good (not as good as yours).

Regarding the custom AV rack it was an easy project to complete ... 2 (60" × 18") pine boards, 6 cinder blocks and some wood stain.

Thank you jeff1225.  The LS50 are great for sure. Even if the Onkyo do a good job driving them, I might upgrade it down the road just to spoil myself.
