Description

Wow,is all I can say looking at the members systems here, quite humbling to this blue collar working man.

I've recently shaken things up a bit, moved my extensive Carver setup out if the living rm into the mancave to simplify things in here for the little lady. Originally purchased the KA-7300 to replace a long gone friend purchased in 1978, a Kenwood KA-7100, this time needing the pre outs required I step up to the 7300.

The 7300 is only seeing preamp duty (a shame too as its dual mono design is quite the shit) feeding a pair of heavily modified Dynaco ST 120s. The Dynacos are being used in a quasi mono block setup biamping a pair of modified Klipsch Heresys series 1. Two Dayton sub1200s are the perfect height to work as speaker stands, and when dialed in correctly preserve the signature Heresy sound only BIGGER with more bottom end down to 25hz.

Nowhere in the league of what I've seen here but it is what it is, and sounds great to my old fart ears.

You've got my favorite 1970's Japanese turntable. Mated well to the Grace arm and cartridge. Well done!
