Could you please all give your opinions/recommendations for a 3-5 channel amp for this system. Listening time is split 50-50 between Music & HT. Oh yeah my pre/pro is a Denon AVR-3803. Budget for the amp is $1-2K. Thanks, any and all input is greatly appreciated
Try a used Anthem MCA 2 or 3. The newer 20/30 are a little better, but I would go for a old used one to save the $$. I went to an MCA5 with my old Harmon/Kardon reciever, and I still use it today after upgrading almost everything else in my (modest) system.
