Hi Ron, thank you for the comments. As for the platforms I did not notice much of a difference with the amps as compared to the table. I had the platforms for amps from past Thiel1.5's. so that wasn't a bummer. Getting the Nott base out from under it and adding the maple plat it has a way of clearing away a murkiness and a tightening up that surprised me. Vibration control as I've come to find out is not audiophiley bs and worth delving into at least as it applies to my turntable anyway.
