My system has actually remained the same for quite awhile in my personal relative terms. I think I found what I was looking for when I started that thread "transitioning from tube to solid state...". I am looking to add some art works on my wall after my artist friends decide to contribute.
I know what you mean about windows that face north. It's the most comfortable position for a window to be in for the inhabitant not only because it lets in light most evenly, but it also keeps the summers cooler and winters warmer depending on surrounding of trees and such etc. A window that faces north is the first thing I look for in a new place I am to move into other than a good room for the stereo.
Do update your pics when your new speakers settle in.
