Do you still like your Pass X250? I have an XP12 with GamuT L5 speakers. I've heard older Pass amps that were a bit thin and clean, bordering on clinical. I prefer a warmer richer sound of tubes, though I'm less inclined to deal with tubes these days - my Gamuts are my LR speakers in a surround system and my speakers for two channel. I'm wondering whether you find the X250 a bit on the lean side of the spectrum? Or rich? Is it rich in relation to other solid state amps, in your experience, or rich whether tubed or solid state amplification. In advance, thank for thoughts you're willing to share.
