Description

If you were lucky enough to be into HiFi in 1962 your "all out assault" system would look something like this (aside from the power conditioner and transporter).

I prefer the sound of vintage gear and found this combination to be just right. I didn't really plan it that way but it's just the way it worked out. This is an example of what a system from the "golden age of HiFi" can look and sound like. Check it out and let me know what you think.

    • Bozak Audio Lab Urban 302A
A wonderful speaker, The best of the Best.
    • Heathkit AA-11
A wonderful preamp, Many say is as good as Marantz C7, Full of Mullard 12Ax7's
    • Heathkit AA-40
A really sweet 40 watts per channel amp. Most will say if you have one you have gold. I know what they are saying.
    • Fairchild 412
Built in 1960 a nice smooth table with a wonderful sound.
    • Shure V15VxMR
You listen and decide for yourself. It's the best cart I have ever heard.
    • Slim Devices Transporter
What a nice network music server. The latest slim server software really is nice.
    • PS Audio Power Regenrator
Works nice with the vintage equipment. I can turn down the voltage to a nice 113v. Real easy on the old stuff.

The Transporter/early vintage combo is very unique! Would love to hear it.

Very cool. Thanks for posting it.

Can you provide some more closeup pics of some of the pieces?

How does it sound different from more modern stuff?

What kind of music do you listen to with it?
