I haven't had any problems with pops, but I do find some noise generated from the amps even when my pre-amp is turned off. I'm running the amps through a Shunyata Hydra 6. The sound of the amp and pre is so good though I'm having a hard time complaining about the little bit of noise.

Hi,

Just got a pair of Cary cad500's to go with my SLP98 and am loving the music. Was wondering if you are using the stock power cords, or power conditioning?

I replaced a Cary Rocket 88r with the mb's and can't believe the fullness and detail they just sound right.
